Puerto San Luis

Puerto San Luis lodge is located in San Luis of Tilaran in the Province of Guanacaste. Puerto San Luis is known as the main harbour and recreational center on Lake Arenal. This spectacular man made lake at the foot of the Arenal Volcano lends itself to top windsurfing conditions, kite boarding, fishing and much more. The quaint, laid back mountain village of Tilaran is just 4 Km from Lake Arenal.  

The lodge accommodations are spread over three buildings, offering a total of twenty spacious rooms for up to four guests.  The pool side and lake front rooms come with double beds,  the regular lake front and suite lake front offer king size beds and single. All rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, TV, private bath with hot water, and telephone.

Those seeking something a bit bigger can choose a two bedroom family suite with master bedroom complete with a king size bed and the second room with two bunk beds.  Included in the suite is a full kitchen and living /dining room. 

Here at Puerto San Luis it is easy to access and enjoy the lake and the surrounding natural wonders of Costa Rica.  For water lovers we have Boat rentals, fishing charters windsurfing, and an extensive list of day trip options from zipping through the canopy of the rainforest to visiting one of the most active volcanoes in the world, The Arenal Volcano.  There’s something to keep everyone smiling and captivated. 

After a fun filled day at the lake or jungle tour take some time to relax in the Jacuzzi or pool complete with slide.  When hunger finally meets up with you come dine in our restaurant, El Viento, offering a variety of local and international dishes, or pass to the Sports bar for some drinks and typical bocas (appetizers).  The game room also comes complete with bar and snacks. 

Tilaran is three hours from the San Jose International Airport and two hours from the Liberia International airport.
