Proyecto Asis
Proyecto Asis Education & Wildlife Rescue Center
The rescue center will start with telling why it is so important what they are doing in the face of illegal hunting and natural habitat destruction. Asis works together with lots of non-profit organizations, environmental agencies and government entities to make sure that the animals that they safe from the wild will get set back as much as possible. Asis tries to inform visitors about species that are in danger of extinction and other information visitors like to know about the welfare of the animals.
You can walk around the facilities, learn about the animals and where they come from.
Visitors can choose between just a tour through the premises of Proyecto Asis or combine this with volunteering at the wild life rescue center.
The rescue center is closed on Sundays.
