This lodge is located 11 miles (18 kilometers) outside of the always thriving city of La Fortuna. What makes this lodge special is that you will stay with the family who build this hotel, the staff does not just work at Heliconias Nature Lodge, they live there as well.
You do not have to leave the premises to explore Costa Rican adventure. The forest and garden of the lodge are home to many birds, sloths and other animals. The bungalows are rustic, comfortable and have a cozy interior.
All bungalows are equipped with a private bathroom with hot water and a hair dryer. The room itself has facilities like air conditioning, cable tv, fan, mini refrigerator, safe deposit box and wireless internet.
The hotel's outdoor swimming area has a pool suitable for children and adults, perfect place to soak up the sun or relax after one of the many adventures that can be done in the Arenal area.
