Hotel Silencio del Campo’s name means “Country Silence Hotel” in Spanish. True to this title, the hotel is located several miles outside the town of La Fortuna in an area that is as naturally beautiful as it is quiet. The inspiring Arenal Volcano is always in view and the hotel maintains a property that is expertly gardened with vibrant plants. Adult and children’s pools employ natural designs that make guests feel as though they were swimming in a lake or natural spring. Chairs surround these pools, offering up a prime location to read, relax or simply take in views of the volcano.

Guests are invited to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, which has large windows and ample seating. It serves tasty meals from sunup till sundown and has a bar that is stocked with beers, wine, liquors, juice and soda.

There are 19 spacious individual cabins. With angled roofs and paneled wood, these cabins are both comfortable and attractive. All come equipped with a private hot water bathroom and air conditioning to ensure that guests remain comfortable. Two queen size beds or one king size bed is offered, and each has a mini fridge, coffee maker and hairdryer. One of the rooms is wheelchair accessible.
